Together, we do make a difference!
Neighbors looking out for other neighbors founded Coweta-Fayette EMC. Today, we operate on that same principal in every community we serve, through a variety of programs that impact everyone from the youngest school child to the elderly on fixed incomes and those with special medical needs. And it’s you, our members who can take credit for the difference made in the lives of so many others.
The pennies you contribute each month to Operation Round-Up, when combined with the pennies of thousands of other members, have resulted in changed lives. Founded in 1993, the program offers Coweta-Fayette EMC members the opportunity to literally “round up” their bill to the next highest dollar, with the difference being contributed to a fund which is awarded to various individuals and organizations in need. Managed by the Coweta-Fayette Trust Board as a not-for-profit organization, Round-Up allots funds bi-monthly based on need; board members individually review applications that have been received at the EMC offices.
“This may indeed be the most important community program ever undertaken by Coweta-Fayette EMC,” says company President and CEO, Anthony H. "Tony" Sinclair. “The generosity of our members makes it possible for some students to attend college, for elderly people on fixed incomes to attain medications they need and for families in emergency situations to obtain help. Local organizations are also assisted in their own efforts to serve the community. I can’t think of a better way to be a real neighbor!”
This is a voluntary program and our members can sign up or opt out at any time by completing the following application or by contacting a Customer Service Representative at 770-502-0226.
